For those of you that didn’t want to brave the storm, you have another chance. The Steel Challenge is being rescheduled due to weather. Thankfully the die hards setup the Smoke & Hope Stage and had a blast in the rain. Thanks to Rene, Rob, & crew for setting up the match. See you at the next one!
Rene Santos Steel Challenge – May 27th
Our next match is the Steel Challenge a the Selkirk Game and Fish Association on May 27th. Bring 5 magazines and 250 rounds for the match, registration starts at 8am. There will be a cash BBQ for lunch.
The Steel Challenge is pure speed and accuracy and the course of fire is deceptively simple. You must shoot 5 steel plates in almost any order as fast as possible remembering that the ‘stop plate’ must be shot last. On each stage your best 4 runs are totaled to be your score.
Here is an example of a Steel Challenge stage:
Time permitting we will also have a man-on-man shoot-off at the end of the day. If you want to be part of the shoot-off make sure you bring at least 300 rounds of ammo.
